2012 825i rough start, gas eggy smell

My 2022 825i is having weird issues.. it takes ages to crank, sputters when it finally decides to start, there's a strong gas smell on startup and noticeable eggy smell coming from the exhaust. Other than that, it runs fine..

Ive changed the plugs, wire, air filter, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter... what else? Problem just keeps on returning,, feels like it's flooding. any ideas?

Yeah the injector might be stuck open or leaking. That "eggy" smell? Must be the catalytic converter hustling hard because of the unburned fuel... better bring this to a repairman ASAP.

a rotten egg smell coming from your car is definitely a problem, usually it comes from failing catalytic converter

It seems like it might be running rich. I'd reccommend checking the coolant temperature sensor,if it's stuck on a cold reading, it could flood when starting up. It's also a good idea to look for leaks in the injectors and maybe check the O2 sensor as well. By the way, how many hours do you have on it?
