My buddy just bought a used 2023 Gator hpx 615e for a good price.

he's asking me questions about it, like I'm some kind of expert lol

I told him that I'll look into it, so here we go.

the gator seems like it hasn't been used for a long, long time. I think they drain them of any & all fluids, unfortunately, they do it the Fast & Easy way.

They took a K-Bar to the coolant hose & the brake lines. Same as fuel lines.

Long story short, my buddy and I got this thing running.

I have a few questions & am hoping I can get your help.

first, how do I adjust the carb and bleed the brakes? and are there any adjustments to the primary clutch?

hit me with your thoughts here, thanks!

No long talk
For the carb, start with the idle speed screw and adjust the air/fuel mixture if it's rough, then for brakes, bleed them starting from the furthest wheel then to the clutch, check the sheave faces and spring tension, but no major adjustments needed unless it's worn.
Good luck

Nice work bringing that 615e back, did y'all notice any weird noises or slipping from the clutch before thinking about adjusting it?

I agree, concentrate on careful adjustments and checking everything, and only swap out parts if you can see they're worn down.
