The rear torsion bar on my XUV 825i just snapped, I noticed it after some rough trail riding I did last week, how I guessed was that the rear end felt looser than usual and sure enough, found the bar broken clean.
I need help with this, should I stick with the OEM part or is there a more durable aftermarket option worth considering? I use it for both utility and some off road fun from time to time, so something tougher would be great.
Appreciate any advice or part suggestions.

If you do off-road most of the time, go with a more heavy duty aftermarket torsion bar, it's tougher than OEM and better suited for rough use. Just make sure it fits your setup

I had the same problem after a weekend of hauling and trail riding with my 825i, noticed tha the back felt loose, and the torsion bar was broken. I used a part from XXParts that was like the original but stronger. If you use your machine for work and fun, @KZan's right, a tougher part could be a good idea.

Do you want to keep the factory ride feel, or are you open to a stiffer setup if it means more durability for your mix of utility work and off-road use?
