I've been thinking this for a while but never gotten around to plan it. Snow in my area is a thing and it can be a serious one, so I'm thinking about a snow plow on the gator, but I need some advice. The first one is it powerful enough to handle such task? If yes, then what would you suggest? I see multiple models with different materials, so I want to get somthing that will do the job righ

Although I don't often use my Gator for plowing, it is capable of handling the task if needed. Despite having wide tires and being relatively light, it has poor traction, but it's still much simpler than shoveling. Long driveways are not too difficult to plough, but the transmission may experience some strain if you have to change gears a lot in confined spaces.

Do consider a manual or electrical lifet so it's gonna be much simpler and easier. May even add a swivel blade for angled snow clearing! If you'd want, you can check kits from Warn or Fisher.

Absolutely, a Gator is a beast with a plow! They're super capable. For 'doing the job right,' definitely get one with trip springs and an electric lift. As for material, steel is generally tougher for heavy snow, but poly sheds better. You won't regret it!
