My 825 has a problem where it slows down rapidly as soon as I release the gas, almost as if the clutch isn't functioning correctly. When I let go of the gas, it even knocks things off the seat. Although the brakes are off, it feels like they are. Does anyone else have this experience or know what might be causing it?

Yeah, that sounds like aggressive engine braking, it is probably your clutch hanging up or the belt not disengaging right. Has the clutch ever been cleaned or serviced? Might be time to pull it apart and inspect

Yeah, the engine braking is noticeable, but I doubt it's gonna be that much noticeable. I'm voting for the primary clutch, as it seems to be a common reason for this
