Belt only climbing halfway up secondary clutch on XUV 825i

I've got a 2014 John Deere Gator XUV 825i that's been acting a little sluggish lately on takeoff and going uphill, I took the clutch cover off and ran it up on jack stands to have a look and turns out the belt is only climbing about halfway up the secondary clutch, the belt is not that old and still looks to be in good shape. Although the primary clutch seems to be doing its thing, but the secondary doesn't look like it's fully squeezing the belt like it should

I'm no expert but I think your secondary clutch might be sticking a bit, or maybe the spring is starting to wear out. I'd suggest pulling it off, giving it a good clean, and checking for any signs of wear or sticking. It could really improve how well it grips the belt

Something similar happend with my 2014 825i after a few hard weekends on the trails. Mine felt sluggish too, and the belt wasn't climbing high on the secondary. Turned out the secondary clutch spring was worn and not giving enough squeeze. I swapped it for a stiffer aftermarket spring, and it made a big difference. Maybe try that that before replacing the whole clutch?

Could the secondary clutch be misaligned or experiencing spring tension issues that keep it from fully squeezing the belt, or might there be buildup or debris affecting its movement?
