Bent steering bar fix or replace

I've noticed that my Gator has been steering a bit off for the last month. I finally took it into the shop yesterday, and it turns out the front wheels weren't aligned properly. I discovered that the bar connecting the rack to the tie rod end is bent

I looked up the parts breakdown, and while it looks like that piece can be removed, it doesn't seem to be sold separately. I haven't taken it apart yet, but I'm curious—has anyone here managed to straighten one of these out or even made a replacement? I'm guessing that getting a whole new rack is going to be quite expensive

I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences if you've been in a similar situation

Can you try and point out which from this image below? I think the steering rack is about $200.

I think it's the steering linkage which people say is a weak point and can bent easily. I would look at junkyards or some aftermarket options if they're available. You could try to straighten it, but I'm not sure how good of a job you'll do, plus you risk weakening the metal. There's always the diy option, but you'll need to rely on a good fabricator to make the piece just right

@wokenbeauty I think straightening that bent bar is possible if he uses a press or carefully heat and bend it back, but it takes patience and a steady hand and @QuadGreen aking a custom replacement is doable if you have access to a fab shop, but it's definitely not a quick weekend job
