I was just wondering if there's a safe way to get a few extra mph out of my HPX815E. It's topping out around 30 mph on flat gravel. I know these aren't built for speed, but has anyone tinkered with governor settings, clutch mods, or tire size to gain a little more? Not looking to turn it into a racer I just want a bit of a bump.

Yeah you can get a few extra mph out of the HPX815E with some light tweaks, people have had luck adjusting the governor, swapping to slightly larger tires or installing a clutch kit for better top-end

Try swapping in a stiffer primary spring or lighter clutch weights, or by running a slightly larger rear tire each can nudge you 2–3 mph. But test one change at a time.

I read somewhere that a guy managed to get it over 40 mph, but I'm not sure if it was with an ecu remap or a standalone ecu, so it's doable. Now I have to ask, any specific reason why you'd want to up the top speed?
