Hey man, check out Nilight and Auxbeam if you're looking for something budget friendly. Otherwise Rigid Industries could give you something better if you're willing to spend some extra cash.

Exactly, the knotter assembly can be a headache if it's not properly maintained, so definitely inspect that and then the price, it's not bad, but the key is condition. If it's been kept in good shape and you're not running massive amounts of bales, it should serve you well for years.

Yup, I think I feel you on this one... those factory Gator lights just normally dont cut it for real work. For brighter ones, cleaner, and hopefully a plug and play kinda thing like you said, check out LED options from brands like Rigid Industries and Auxbeam like some of them suggestions here. They both offer various patterns and wiring kits to make installation pretty straightforward

Another clean option is upgrading your existing headlight bulbs to LEDs.
John Deere also sells OEM LED work light kits like the BM26216 which is designed for seamless integration.
