XUV825i shock preload adjustment

I've got an XUV825i that's got four newer adjustable shocks, and they're all currently set on the lowest setting. I've noticed there's a bit too much rake in the front, especially when I'm plowing

Is it really as straightforward as just compressing the spring and turning it to the next notch? Has anyone tried this before? I'd really appreciate any quick tips you might have

Adjusting those shocks is generally straightforward!
Compressing the spring and moving it up to the next notch should lift the front end and reduce that rake you're seeing.
Just make sure you adjust both front shocks evenly so your ride stays balanced!
You might also need a spring compressor tool but the wrench that came with your XUV should be enough!

Yeah, it's pretty straightforward, but make sure you've got the vehicle on flat ground and supported before adjusting the shocks. Compressing the spring and turning to the next notch should work, but keep an eye on the front-end alignment after adjusting. Too much rake can mess with handling, especially when plowing, also don't go too tight, if it's too stiff, you'll feel every bump

The advice you got are on point, but in addition to that I'll recommend adding the plow to see the ride height. The weight will drop it, so keep that in mind as well.

Sorry it took forever for me to reply. I really appreciate all the awesome tips! I took your advice and adjusted the shocks evenly, used the spring compressor tool, and checked the ride height with the plow attached. Everything's all set now,the rake is much improved, and the handling feels really balanced. Incredible help!
