looking for plug-and-play harness for Jensen radios in 835R

The new Jensen radio I'm upgrading in my 835R only has bare wires, no harness. Is there a plug-and-play harness available from Jensen? Or can I use the harness from the old radio again? I would appreciate any advice!

Not sure if Jensen has a specific harness for JD 835R. but i think, not an expert here, you can use the old harness, just cut the harness off the old radio, just leave enough wire for the connector. just splice the bare wires from your new Jensen radio to the wires on the old harness's connector. it's like reusing the part that plugs directly into your JD's existing wiring.

just match up the functionsusing the wiring diagrams for both your new Jensen and the 835R. hope this helps but we can always hear from the others here.

Unfortunately, a direct plug-and-play harness from Jensen for a specific vehicle like the 835R isn't usually available.
Jensen makes universal radios, not specific vehicle integration kits.

You can reuse the harness from the old radio but it will involve splicing.
If you're not comfortable with wiring, it's worth having a professional do it to avoid any electrical issues!

yeah, it's true that the old radio's harness won't plug directly into the new Jensen.
The good news is that they make adapters for this exact situation. You'll need a wiring harness adapter that has the connector for your John Deere on one end and bare wires on the other that you can connect to your Jensen's wires. It's the closest thing you'll get to plug and play
