My 2011 825i abruptly decelerates when I let off the gas. It feels like it's hitting the brakes hard when I'm not. I know my tractor is old but it's the first time I've experienced this! I'm thinking it's a clutch issue? Anyone ran into the same problem before?

it could be bcs of several things, like the transmission or hydraulics

Yeah, that sudden decel sounds like classic clutch drag or maybe a sticking secondary, has it been cleaned or serviced recently? It could be buildup or worn rollers hanging things up, did you notice any belt squeal

It sounds like when you release the throttle, your primary clutch isn't disengaging completely. It might be hanging due to worn parts, dry clutch slides, or high idle. If it continues to act up, I would first check the idle RPM, apply some dry lube to the clutch slides, and look for wear. Quite typical on these as they get older.

Hmm.. worn bushings or dirty sliders causing it to hang up maybe, pull the clutch, clean it out, and check for wear, it might just need a rebuild kit if it's sticking bad
